Cause This behavior occurs when IIS has been freshly installed and is in its default state. The Web Service Extensions applet within Internet Information Services Manager shows that Active Server Pages are set to ?Prohibited? by default. Resolution 1. Open Internet Information Services Manager and navigate to the Web Service Extensions icon on the left panel. 2. From the right panel, right-click Active Server Pages and select Allow. This allows the Active Server extensions to run. 3.
