Consultant/Citrix Engineer
  I.                    SUMMARY.  Responsible for designing and implementing 
business oriented technology solutions in a consulting environment. Engage in 
consulting of senior level technology decision making related to business 
value, and end to end information technology.  The information systems 
consulting focuses on solutions using Microsoft, Cisco & Citrix products.  This 
position requires travel throughout North East Ohio; frequency can vary 
depending on the type of project.  After installs many customers can be 
supported remotely through Citrix/Terminal Services.  ANS is a family friendly 
environment and tries to give our consultants reasonable workloads.
  II.                  ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the 
following.  Other duties may be assigned.
  A.      Architect & Design technology solutions mapping common customer 
business problems to reusable end-to-end technology solutions.
  1.       Architect end-to-end technology solutions for customers based on 
business need and budget.
  2.       Design reliable networks and data centers for customers.
  3.       Design and architect telecommunications data networks.
  B.      Installs, upgrades, configures, maintains, and supports computer 
networks, servers, and workstations.
  1.       Implement new customer servers, user environment, software, 
printing, and security for services being delivered.
  2.       Performs network troubleshooting to isolate and diagnose network 
  3.       Maintains network and server equipment for customers.
  4.       Troubleshoots wide-area networks and associated hardware.
  5.       Assists in research and final testing of new products & services.
  C.      Provides users with network technical support.
  1.       Responds to the needs and questions of  customers concerning their 
technology infrastructure.
  2.       Responds to customer inquiries on the telephone, through on-line 
networks, and by e-mail.
  3.       Documents customer problems, resolutions & changes to existing 
  4.       Plans and schedules resolution to customer problems.
  5.       Interfaces with vendor technical support on customers? behalf.
  6.       Trains customers to use new or modified technology solutions.
  III.               QUALIFICATIONS.  To perform this job successfully, an 
individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.  The 
requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or 
ability required.
  A.      Excellent interpersonal and follow-up skills.
  B.      Excellent time management and organizational skills, ability to 
manage multiple priorities.
  C.      Adaptable, flexible, and patient.
  D.      Ability to work without direct supervision. 
  E.       Individuals are expected to be punctual, maintain company and 
customer confidentiality, and exhibit trustworthiness.

  IV.                EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE.   Minimum:  Bachelor's degree 
in Information Systems is preferred or equivalent 4 years experience, LAN/WAN 
design & configuration, Windows NT/2K/XP/2003 knowledge, Citrix Metaframe XP 
knowledge, HP/Compaq knowledge, and Cisco knowledge.  MCSE, CCNP, CCEA or 
greater certification; Cisco certifications are preferred but not required.
  A.      Individual must take initiative to keep up-to-date and grow with 
computer industry.  
  1.       Individuals are expected to pursue certifications applicable to 
areas of service, products, and hardware including but not exclusive of 
HP/Compaq, Microsoft, Citrix, and Cisco products.
  V.                  LANGUAGE SKILLS.  English; excellent oral and written 
communications skills.
  VI.                MATHEMATICAL SKILLS.  Minimum:  basic business math. 
  VII.             REASONING ABILITY.  Able to think and adapt quickly, 
flexible disposition. Excellent analytical skills and reasoning.
  VIII.           PHYSICAL DEMANDS.  The physical demands described here are 
representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform 
the essential functions of this job.
  A.      Regular work hours will be 8:00a.m. to 5:00p.m. Monday through Friday 
unless otherwise agreed upon with supervisor and/or project scheduler. Hours 
may be subject to change depending on business requirements. Weekly hours based 
on 45 hour week.
  B.      After work hours in rotation for extended on-call support. 
  C.      Responsibilities performed most often at corporate headquarters and 
will require travel to client locations.
  D.      Individuals must be able to lift 100 pounds, move furniture, crawl 
under furniture, climb ladders, and be physically agile.

  IX.               PERFORMANCE EVALUATION.  Individuals in this position to be 
evaluated a minimum of every twelve (12) months based on the following.
  A.      Performing essential duties and responsibilities satisfactorily.
  B.      Complaints or compliments from employees and clients.
  C.      Profitability to company.
  D.      Assessment of strengths and weaknesses by:
  1.       Supervisor.
  2.       Self.
