Cheers

Was looking to have pass through turned on and for any user without a
suitable client then fallback to java. Not nice when they are then
prompted at a windows logon screen. Really need the client detection
stuff to happen before the logon. If no client than enter your
credentials. If you have a suitable client then use pass
through....hmmmnnnn......

Thanks

Malcolm

From the WI Admin guide..

Step 1-Installing the Full Client for Win32

You must install the full Client for Win32 on your users' client
devices, using an

administrator account. Pass-through is available only in the full Client
for Win32

Remember that with pass-through you're making use of the user's local
desktop's authentication - which needs code running on the local client
that's only available in the full client.

This is not the issue. The JAVA client works fine. Just does not work
correctly with SSO and Pass-through

Subject: [THIN] Java Single Sign On Pass Through

Hi All

Setting up a new WI 4.6 Server.

Have turned on pass-through so a user does not have to enter there
credentials. Users can run apps using full blown client and all works
fine.  (SSO etc)

Have configured WI so that if a user does not have a Client they will
download the Java client and run this instead. When they do this they
get prompted to log onto the OS with a classic windows logon screen.
I've played around with adding things to the Default.ica and can do
things like turning seamless on and off and this does work for the java
client. However when adding the SSO settings this seems to make no
difference.

EnableSSOnThruICAFile=On
SSOnUserSetting=On

Ideas what I'm missing.

By the way if I disable the pass-through it works fine with java and
full client

Malcolm
