Subject: [THIN] Re: Java Client Issue

Two minor problems with this post -

One is that when I try to get Xp SP1 Microsoft Website tells me I have an
illegal product key - which is not the case as I have a legit purchased
when
it first came out copy. And will not let me download SP1 BUT will let me
download all of the BUGFIXES as in critical updates - now aint that
strange.

Two - SP1 is apparently no longer available and is replaced by SP1a which
very succinctly says we removed VM.

I will probably call Citrix tomorrow - to see what they recommend.

In this case since it is my workstation I can use the full ICA client - but
because of the pilot ( and I know that we have home users who have XP home
and Pro that may have the same issue) I just wanted to try as many
combinations as possible.

When I first started testing - I got a message from Citrix -d o you want to
trust downloads from Citrix ( in the office) and once I said yes I seemed
to
download some kind of Java Client. OOH WELL
