search "symcjit.dll" and rename it to "symcjit.old", then oracle =

Yes, There is a bug with the Oracle client 8.x (specially the oracle
installer) and the Pentium 4 PC.
Nothing happens when you try to install it.

You must install a previous (or next) version of Oracle Installer and =
install
your Oracle 8.x client with it.

Did someone try to install oracle client 8.1 client on Metaframe XP =
before?
I tried installing it through add/remove programs and nothing happens.
I will appreciate any inputs.
Thanks
