yikes!! Your users have domain admin privs?

Your best bet then is to find a baseball bat (wood is preferred but =
aluminum will do) and try to get a confession.

You might be able to get an idea of when it was installed, then look in =
the security logs and see who was logged on where when it was installed.

Sometimes I will just beat random user until they confess or rat out =
someone else >:]

Since my users have to have domain admin privileges, the administrator
is the owner. Is there some other way to find out who the login was
that installed this.

on the security tab of the file properties, click the advanced button, =
=3D
then the owner tab.

There should be a section for "Current Owner" and a section for "Change
=3D
owner to".

I don't find anything in the properties other than the group from which
the user is a member.

I am not sure how to do it from the command line. I usually do it from
=3D3D
the file properties dialog.

Fins the exe and see who the owner of the file is. Should be a good =3D
=3D3D3D
indication of who was logged in to install it.

I need to know how to find the user that installed an application on the
server. I have had some issues where a program gets installed and I
want to be able to find out who it is.
