When you create a Package using the Packager tool there are three types of Packages: 1. Recording of an Installation 2. Unattended installation (A command line is executed) 3. Selected files Using option three you are given the option of selecting Directories of Files that will be the Package. Whatever you select will be placed on the Target System. Where does the list come? The farm. adam "Michael Boggan" <mboggan@hotmail. com> To Sent by: "thin list" <thin@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> thin-bounce@freel cc ists.org Subject [THIN] Installation Manager 01/13/2006 03:08 distribution of files PM Please respond to thin@xxxxxxxxxxxx g I heard somewhere that you could use Installation Manager to push a files out to your servers. Instead of create a package of an installation or running anything, we want to push a folder containing files out to several servers to update an inhouse application. How can this be done using IM? So far I have not found a way to do this.
