I looked at one of the articles about improving performance of WWan's, and seem to be getting conflicting info. In one of those articles, it says to reduce packet size to 512 and that setting it to that size wouldn't negatively affect other connection types. Another article on Citrix says it will, including Wireless LAN, which is really the type of wireless we're dealing with. I have a few users that use Verizon PC cards, but they haven't mentioned any trouble, though in our main city they get broadband speed. _____ From: thin-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:thin-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Steve Greenberg Sent: Tuesday, April 18, 2006 3:33 PM To: thin@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [THIN] Re: Improving performance over 802.11 connection Are you guys using an IPSec VPN? Is there anything we can do on our end to improve this? The Citrix server is on Windows 2000 SP4 with PS 4 Advanced. I've seen it on my home wireless as well, if I switch to a wired connection, my problems go away.
