In house 1 hour (because my sales guys cried about the 30 minute
rule....)

Most places it depends on how the user works. IF they will leave an app
open all day and only go to it once an hour you need to take that into
consideration. With a desktop people can walk away from it for a
meeting etc, and expect to walk back to it, not come back and have to
re-establish their connection.

Security is also a consideration. Some places will set really low
timeouts for security reasons.

Subject: [THIN] Idle Timeout - Poll

I would like to take an informal poll....

If you are publishing a Windows Desktop and/or Microsoft Office
Applications
via Metaframe, what is your Idle Timeout Setting set at?

Thanks!
