Oh, and don't forget that there is one thread per CPU.  So the process time
for the system idle task is a maximum of uptime times the number of CPU.

Sounds like a bug in your script.  It may be running, but if your idle time
> time it last ran, no reboot occurred.

You can check the event logs or use UPTIME.EXE to determine how long you've
been up.

Hi all,

every week I restart all servers in the farm,

But I see that the idle time process has more time in process, this mean
that the server is not restarted 10-12 days ago,
but the scheduled task are running without errors.

It's normal? the idle time process only reset if the machine is down, not
if restart?
