I had this happening on servers after restoring them from ghost. Try using
chfarm to move the server to it's own farm and then again to add it back to
the original farm, or reinstall MetaFrame

the past few days one of my servers has been hanging up. People enter their
userid and password and then just stare at a light blue screen for eternity.
The CMC shows nothing for this server, no sessions, nothing but I know
people that are already logged on are still running just fine.
When this has happened in the past, I have restarted the IMA service and
things have come back to life.
When I stop the IMA service now, I get a message that it could not be
stopped and the status shows as "stopping". Has anyone run into this before
and have any suggestions for coaxing some life back into this server.
