I set disable internet connection wizard and when they try to run IE it says the do not have permissions to run the IE setup wizard. So it sees the policy but it still wants to run the setup wizard. I am running roaming profiles and they should pull from the default user profile and it had the reg key that says it is completed. -----Original Message----- From: Paul DeHaan [mailto:wppad@xxxxxxxxx]=20 Sent: Monday, February 17, 2003 2:05 PM To: thin@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [THIN] Re: IE setup page If you are in an AD environment, you can set this via a GPO under User Configuration. This is how I've got it set, and there haven't been any random pop-up yet. Are you using a single mandatory profile? If you are using roaming profiles, you would have to check the user portion of the registry for that particular profile to be sure that the setting is still there. =20 Paul >>> pbeckman@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx 02/17/03 02:53PM >>> I remember a while ago talking about eh IE set up wizard. I have random users that will get this at various times. I can walk them through the wizard and then everything will be fine for a while, then all of a sudden it will ask them again. I have checked the registry for the default user and the reg. says that it has completed but the users will still get prompted. I am running W2K SP2 on Citrix XPe FR2. =20 Any ideas? =20 Thanks =20 Paul Beckman CIS Department Delta Health Group 850-470-0155 pbeckman@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx=20 =20 "The information transmitted is intended only for the person or entity to=20 which it is addressed and may contain confidential, proprietary, and/or privileged material.
