Interestingly, removing IE7 returns things to normal.

Unfortunately in my case Flash isn't installed and the fault occurs over
RDP so that rules out speedscreen.

It looks like I'm going to have to rebuild the server as no matter what
I try I can't seem to fix this issue.

I had this issue a while back with IE6, disabling speedscreen for flash
and then updating flash to the latest version (I think 9 right now),
then re-enabling speedscreen resolved it.

Windows Server 2003 SP1, CPS 4.0 with latest rollup.

Recently installed Office 2003 and Internet Explorer. Previously it was
running Office XP and IE6 without any issues.

Now when a user opens Internet Explorer it immediately closes again.
This happens via rdp or ica. However, it works just fine as an admin.

I've tried creating a test user that doesn't have any user group
policies applied to it but the fault still occurs.

Suggestions?

James.
