...Never mind, I am a goon, you can download the web client only, I didn't realize that. /jL -----Original Message----- From: Luchette, Jon Sent: Wednesday, July 14, 2004 2:52 PM To: thin@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: ICA client deployment via NFuse Hello, we have a couple of NFuse 1.7 boxes that people connect to and get the ICA web client when they first connect to the page. Right now, we are still pushing out version 6.3.x or something ridiculous like that. Next week, I am rebuilding my NFuse boxes completely, and upgrading to WI 2.0. At this time, I want to set it up so that we're pushing out the newest version 8 client instead of the older 6.x web client. My concern is this: Citrix seems to have packaged their web client, PN client, and PN agent client, into one single MSI file for version 8. If I push out that prepackaged msi file with all of those different options during install my users would probably start jumping out of windows, chewing on their fingers, and groaning real loud, because they wouldn't know what to do. Is there any way to set it up similar to the way it works with version 6.xx clients and only push out the ICA WEB client with that very simple Next>Next>Finish install process? Or is it just easier to go to version 7 clients and avoid the newest version 8 client altogether for just this reason? How are you all doing it? Thanks again... /jL
