None of our XP or win2k machines are taking 2000 TSCALS.
We needed some for our NT4 workstations, but that is it.

Our software vendor says that Microsoft stopped including these after the
first release of Windows 2000. There is 1 connection license for Windows XP
for remote desktop utilization but no TSCALS included in any desktop OS any
more.

Almost positive. But double check either on the microsoft site or with
your MS representative, that most of the time will not be aware. We had
few discussion about this issue, and I believe that the consensus was
that you don't need licenses if you are using MS product. You need
licenses when you are starting to use Mac, and other OS.
