Has anyone experienced an issue with the 6.30.1050 client over a WAN
connection that has a 120-130MS latency, where the client will launch
an application, log in, and then log off in about 2.5 minutes?

What is happening is we have the Lawson Client (7.3.3) installed on a
Windows 2000 Server with SP2 and SRP1SP2 with MF Xpa FR2/SP2 (Hotfix
5, 11, and 12 installed), and a client in our NY office will launch
the published app. After 3 minutes or longer, they will get logged
off. Also, just before the client is logged off, they get the ICA
Client Security dialog box. No matter what they set that to, they
get logged off. I can log in with the exact same user to the server
and application, and will run just fine with me. We are both running
the same version of the ICA client.

The only thing I can see is that this user is on a network that still
uses the Novell client (4.8 I believe), and I don't. Both are
Windows 2000 based machines. Mine just happens to be a Windows 2000
Server install with Service Pack 3. I don't know exactly what SP
level the client is as, but I would imagine nothing less than SP2.

UPDATE: Since I don't want to re-write this email with the above
info, it turns out that the Novell client is causing a problem. When
the tech removed the Novell client, things were fast again. They
were able to launch the application without issue. We don't route
IPX (Nwlink), nor do we have any IPX listeners on the MF servers.

Any ideas as to why the Novell client would cause this?
