Hi Lucas,
Check the server properties in the CMC. The feature release level will tell
all ;-)

However FR3 hasn't been out all that long so my guess would be that they
wouldn't be running FR3.

Rick

Rick,

I don't know what FR they are running. However, how do I find out? And
where do I change it?

Hi,
Or if you've installed FR3, you can now do this at a farm level, via the
farm properties ;-)

HELP...

Ok, got that out of my system. The story has change a little bit and I =3D
=3D3D am sinking waist deep into this Citrix stuff. So, I went to = the
client's server and ran the connection configuration manager (mfcfg.exe).
Set it =3D =3D3D so no sessions should be dropped, etc. = The situation at
my client's =3D remote offices has gotten better (they = aren't getting
booted off after 5 to 10 =3D =3D3D min. of inactivity...now it = is taking
something like 15 to 20 minutes). =3D I =3D3D have looked at the client
side as well and edited the appsrv.ini =3D changing the mouse and keyboard
time outs from 0 to 300 per an article I =3D found.=3D3D3D20

Does anyone else have any ideas to help this Citrix Idiot get by??? I = =3D
=3D3D am just getting my feet wet here with Citrix, however the similarities
=3D3D between TS and Citrix are there (not extremely close, but the
knowledge =3D of TS =3D3D has helped out some). So, with that = mouth full
said, what can I =3D do to make these remote offices work = correctly? They
have a solid connection =3D via =3D3D DSL to their home office = (384KBps
bandwidth for three users). So, =3D please =3D3D help me!!!

Short time is about 10 to 15 minutes. I believe it is caused by the = =3D3D
timeout built into the client for licensing purposes. On this =3D
particular ICA Client, I cannot figure out how to change the timeout to
more.  =3D Articles refer me to a cfcon.exe or mfcon.exe file...the
configuration program =3D =3D3D for the client. This program doesn't =
exist on the clients I am looking at. =3D =3D3D Any ideas???

Right. But he said short periods of inactivity. I took that to mean
seconds rather than minutes, but that could be coming from my own =3D3D
situation where that was the case.
