        Hi Hector,

Oooh! I'm getting flashbacks to WinFrame & NT.

If it's the same issue as it was back then (printer drivers),
you are pretty much S.O.L.

There are some things you can attempt to discover the offending
session. Even then, you may not be able to get rid of it.

        1. Query Session sometimes will report successfully without
getting stuck. The hung session's state will be "down".
        2. Check HKEY\Users - Each working user should have two
entries. If you see a SID with only one entry, that user is probably
hung. You can tell who it is by finding the owner of that key under
permissions. Uphclean usually gets rid of these automatically.
        3. Check %SYSTEMROOT%\System32\Spool\PRINTERS for files
that are old. Again, under permissions, see who owns them.
        4. Check the server's console for pop-ups that went there
instead of the user's session. Some processes won't die until the pop-up
is clicked off.

Once you've discovered the identity of the session or user, look
for processes and/or print jobs belonging to them that you can kill.

Better yet, try to determine which of that user's attributes is
causing the session to hang. Always start that search with printer
drivers.

Hi all, I'm running PS 4.5 on Win2k3 and once in a while I
can't see the sessions on a particular server (from the Access
Management Console). If I log in to the server and do a "quser", it
displays some users and then it gets stuck.

I am assuming that a session is hung.
How do I recover from this? Other than reboot.
