Tests on identical systems with AMD mother boards has been shown that a
dualproc cpu performs better than two separate processors. It's a memory
bus thing.

Subject: [THIN] How do dual core CPU's perform?

Looking for just a brief answer not a long technical explanantion re: a
single box with 1 dual core processor. Have an emergency requirement at a
remote location to add a Citrix or TS box but only have available this one
box with a single dual core proc. What can I expect performance wise running
it as Citrix\TS box. Will it compare and scale as well as a similar rated
system that has the standard 2 procs?
