Hi Neil! The situation is that the software that triggers the script only will accept to start one file. As far as I know we are not able to use parameters in a kixscript without adding them like "kix32.exe script.kix $param1=Hello" The batch file gives the users a quick command prompt flash on the screen. I think a VBScript can run in the background and that fixes the problem. --- mvh/yours Anders Hansen-Øvre, Seniorkonsulent Mail : anders.hansen-ovre@xxxxxxxxx Cell : (+47) 90 98 17 78 Konsulenthuset Contra as http://www.contra.no > -----Original Message----- > From: Braebaum, Neil [mailto:neil.braebaum@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx] > Sent: 21. oktober 2002 14:31 > To: 'thin@xxxxxxxxxxxxx' > Subject: [THIN] Re: Help with a VBScript > > > > I'll gladly help you with coding it in vbscript - but I'm > struggling to > understand why it needs to be vbscript, in this case - what's wrong = > with Kix > that you're already using? > > Could you explain your "silent" comment, a bit more, so I can = > understand why > this means it must be vbscript? > > Neil > > > -----Original Message----- > > From: Anders Hansen-=D8vre [mailto:Anders.Hansen-Ovre@xxxxxxxxx]=20 > > Sent: 21 October 2002 14:24 > > To: thin@xxxxxxxxxxxxx > > Subject: [THIN] Help with a VBScript > >=20 > >=20 > > I need a script that will do the following: > >=20 > > The script will be called with 5 parameters: > > If the second parameter is AppGuard we want to launch a shell=20 > > command, else we want to exit.
