There is a Pre-SP4 that fixes the problem you are describing.  I ran =
into this one once before...  Try installing this hotfix: =

After months of relatively trouble free computing, our primary Citrix =
=3D
server has begun to misbehave.  Twice in the past week the server has =
=3D
become inaccessible.  The server is a Dell PowerEdge 6450 with dual =3D
processors, 2GB RAM, Win2k SP3, and MFXP FR2 SP2.  The first symptom is =
=3D
that users are unable to log on.  They receive the log on prompt and are =
=3D
able to enter their user ID and password but the screen then appears to =
=3D
freeze and remains that way indefinitely.  The same thing happens at the =
=3D
server console.  It accepts user ID and password but then hangs.  The =
=3D
mouse still moves but there is no response from the keyboard including =
=3D
CTRL-ALT-DEL.  From the CMC on the second server in the farm I can see =
=3D
user sessions on the misbehaving box but can not actually do anything.  =
=3D
Users who are currently logged in appear to be able to continue =3D
functioning normally.  I happened to be logged in from my desk today =3D
when the problem developed and tried restarting the IMA service with no =
=3D
help.  I then logged out and was unable to get back in.  The event logs =
=3D
show nothing out of the ordinary.  The only recourse was to power the =
=3D
server off and back on.  It comes up clean.

I would appreciate any suggestions on the source of the problem and/or =
=3D
any trouble isolation steps I can take should this condition occur =3D
again.
