Wasn't that a bug in FR2 and FR3. Something they did to speed up
autocreation "supposedly" but was fixed with a hotfix. I think the
public hotfix was for FR3, but a private HF was made for one of my
clients. Its been a while though.

Subject: [THIN] HKEY_USERS\.DEFAULT\Printers

I'm seeing a lot of client printer names being stored under this
location, is there any reason for this? I'm thinking I'll just delete
the keys and set deny permissions to users on the .default profile.
Does anyone know if this will cause issues

As an aside to this I'm also seeing keys being generated for client
printer (mainly Laserjet 1010) under the location:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Print

Anyone any explaination, I'll probably do the same to this, delete and
set deny permissions.

Thanks,
Thomas
