You had said that users got a message at login, so I figured you could
enumerate startup items to see what they are and if that gave you any clues.
I figured who it was. We talked long ago about standardizing a build (or a
few builds) for their servers and maintaining strict change control
processes. If that had been done, you could just roll back. Monday morning
quarterbacking, I know, but you could use that as ammunition to get them to
let you do it in the future.
