I see a big difference speed-wise between the two.... I hardcode 100 Full on other NIC drivers and get 200mb/minute sending; 100/Half gets me 20mb/minute sending. If anyone has the same problem and can help me out, thanks! -----Original Message----- From: thin-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:thin-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx]On Behalf Of Landin, Mark Sent: Friday, August 20, 2004 1:16 PM To: thin@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [THIN] Re: Ghosting HP DL 380s Why aren't you using it in Gig mode? Duplex shouldn't make a huge difference anyway, since Ghosting is typically a "one-way" operation .. . you are either SENDING a huge image TO somewhere else, or RECEIVING a huge image FROM somewhere else. There shouldn't be a whole lot of two-way traffic during a Ghost procedure. > > I need to image some HP DL380s that come with the HP NC7760 > Gigabit Server Adapter with uses the Q57.DOS NDIS driver. > Can anyone help me out in determining the switches to use > that will allow me to use 100 Full Duplex. > It defaults to 100 Half and it is far too painful to wait and > wait and wait.....
