[THIN] Re: GPRS communication

In theory, you can get higher bandwidth, like about 110k, but it depends
on your provider. IIRC, the GPRS is based on slots, some are set as
down, and some set as up. Depending on how many down and how many up,
you can get better bandwidth.

A year or two ago, Dell were selling an 'off the shelf' GPRS package
(not
sure if this is still available). They were quoting 56k bandwidth - I
had a
chance to play with a demo set up and certainly found no problems
running
ICA sessions.

The ICA connection need approximately 20-30KB, so the 56KB will work
fine, I

have heard 13-15KB in a GPRS test environment, any comment.
