You can use the replmon tool. Its on the Windows 2000 server CD under
support tools. If your DC's are in the same site, replication should be
fast. If you have sites, it does take a while for policies to replicate.

Clients receive their policies from which ever DC they setup their secure
channel with. You can look at the %logonserver% variable to see.

Subject: [THIN] GPO help

Hi all,

How can I tell if Policies have replicated between two Windows 2000 domain
controllers?
How does a client determine which DC to get the policy from? DNS,
%logonserver%?

I am having some problems with some Windows 2000 profesional clients not
getting the policies.

Any help is appreciated
