By installing Matrox PowerSpace EpicA on the server, users are able to
customize virtually hosted desktop workspaces to the way they work, in order to
streamline work processes and enhance productivity with multi-display features
previously only available to PC, laptop and workstation users. Matrox
PowerSpace EpicA virtual desktop manager allows the user to define up to nine
virtual desktops per monitor, or per multi-monitor workspace, that can be
labeled and toggled with hotkeys. The ?Desktop Recall? feature of PowerSpace
EpicA enables users to save the application position as it appears on the
workspace, and to automatically reposition applications to their saved
locations. The ?Autostart? feature enables users to determine which
applications they would like to be started automatically upon login and
repositions them to their saved location. The ?Import/Export? feature enables
system administrators to back-up user workspace data onto the network so
workspaces can be
imported and exported effortlessly. Matrox PowerSpace EpicA allows for
multiple settings to meet user needs: a local setting for multi-monitor office
desktop usage and an RDP setting for single monitor access from home. This
?RDP Awareness? feature retains the user?s local (work) settings for a
multi-monitor configuration even after a remote login session (RDP) from a
single monitor has occurred.
