Good question. I know I am telling the CMC to place published app icons on
the desktop. I don't know about PNagent because I was not the one who
configured it. I'll check with my folks to see if they did that.

Either way, shouldn't they only place incons on the desktop to which the
user has been assigned?

Do you have the PN Agent set to place icons on the desktop, or maybe the
published apps. Are checked to place desktop icons?

All,

Using MPS3 with WI. I publish a blank server desktop and run the PNagent
in the desktop. When a user logs in, the blank desktop is blank. After
maybe 10 -20 seconds, ALL published apps/icons appear on the desktop.
After another 10-20 seconds, all apps/icons that the user is not assigned
disappear leaving the user with the correct desktop. I am doing
assignments in the CMC under Applications properties for each app. If the
user is not in the correct global group, he is not supposed to get the
icon.

My question is: why does PNagent show the user ALL the apps and then clean
itself up?
