Can this FW be used to da Address translation on a Gatway ?
Or is it just a desktop packet without nat and pat ?

I have been searching for a decent software firewall for quite some time and
have tried many of them. Everyone recommends Zone Alarm but I have found
one that I like much better and that I feel has a lot more flexibility and
usability than Zone Alarm.
It is called Sygate Firewall. Like Zone Alarm standard, Sygate is free for
home and personal use. If you have purchased Zone Alarm or other firewall
software they offer a deal where you can trade up at a discount to the
Sygate Pro version. (See

I especially like the traffic logs and graphical traffic display that is
included with this package. The package does require that you reboot your
PC after installation for it work properly and once rebooted you need to
approve your internet services to allow traffic. Sygate allows you to set
specific rules by Mac address, IP and ports. If you do not have a firewall
on your home PC you should! This is definitely one to check out.
