We do use romaing profile, and hence the confusuion. You would think changes within a session, would be ssaved via the romaing profile. It is not. >>> andrew.wood@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx 9/17/2007 10:49 AM >>> The default windows explorer view is held in this key: [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Stream s] Ideally - write a logon script that applies the correct setting - its a binary value so can't be set/maintained via native GPOs (although you could use something like http://www.desktopstandard.com/PolicyMakerRegistryExtension.aspx could do it in a GPO) If you want the change to be held you'll need to implement roaming profiles, or a registry hiving solution like flexprofiles. -----Original Message----- From: thin-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:thin-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Chad.M Schneider Sent: 17 September 2007 15:57 To: thin@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [THIN] Folder View in TS/Citrix session Windows 2003 server Citrix PS 4.0 session Users open windows explorer session it defaults to icon view They make all necessary changes, list view, change for all folders, all is well, within that session Close the session, reopen, changes back to icon view I want it to default to list view, and hold their changes, if at all possible. I have found this issue in multiple forums, but have also found several ways to work around it, and it appears none are fully functional. Any thoughts/ideas on this one?
