Sebasian,

What hardware are you using?

Have you updated to the latest NIC and/or teaming drivers? I've seen issu=
es with Teaming on the Broadcom NICs that come as standard with both HP/C=
ompaq and Dell servers.

Have you checked the switches to make sure they're also forced to 100/Ful=
l?

Regards,

Jeremy Thomas

Subject: [THIN] Fileserver Performance on Windows 2003

Hello

We have some Windows 2003 Terminal Severs and a Windows 2003 Fileserver.
When we copy files from the Termanlserver to the Fileserver the performan=
ce
is very bad.
So how do you tune your Windows 2003 file servers?
What about disabling Oplocks? MaxCmds Registry Entry?
Any other Inputs?
We fixed the NIC's of all Servers to 100 Full.

thanks and regards
sebastian
