Sounds like you've got unwanted Naggling--we had that issue with a Oracle 8.1.6 server. I would also think it might adversely effect chatty applications like TS and Citrix which are forced to send single/double digit bytes.. but have to wait 2 seconds for the ACK. -----Original Message----- From: Michael Day [mailto:mday@xxxxxxxxx] Sent: Monday, October 21, 2002 10:58 AM To: Thin (E-mail) Subject: [THIN] FW: ACK Times Our Network Provider has been finding very long ACK times in network sniffs of our remote branches. I am trying to determine if this is normal for terminal services, either Microsoft or Citrix based or if something is set up wrong on our side. If anyone can shed some light on this it would be greatly appreciated. > Thanks, > Michael Day *********************************************** This weeks sponsor Emergent Online http://www.go-eol.com Visit Jim Kenzig of thethin.net at the Emergent Online Booth #221 at Citrix Iforum 2002!
