like a tweaked expand setup)...

Don't know if they sell the equipment without the
service. I know it's not standard equipment and that
they have tweaked this stuff. Might be worth
contacting them. We're looking for this as a one hop
solution for clients in Alaska.

There's some pretty cool spoofing hardware that will
acknowledge local packets as they delivered. The
hardware sits between the server and the dish to
acknowledge packets back to the server. This works on
both ends and really improves performance. I wouldn't
have believed it, but have seen Citrix sessions and
VOIP sessions over satellite networks that performed
extremely well.
