Find MAPISVC.INF and compare it with a machine that has a functional copy of Outlook. In Office XP and 2003 it ss located in Program Files\Common Files\System\MSMAPI\1033 In Office 97 it was located in %SystemRoot%\System32 Hopefully Office 2k uses one of those locations. If not, there's always the Search tool. -----Original Message----- From: thin-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:thin-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Greg Reese Sent: Wednesday, March 23, 2005 3:12 PM To: Thin Subject: [THIN] Exchange Service gone from Outlook Windows 2000 running MF XP SP4. Office 2000. This server has been serving up outlook just fine for quite some time. But starting yesterday, Exchange was no longer an option when adding services to a user's Outlook profile. The dll's are on the computer. We have a prf file that creates the profile but the server seems to have forgotten about Exchange and all it creates are the other services. It is when i went to manually add it that I noticed it was gone. Does anyone know where I can check or what I can do to put it back. I can reinstall Office if I have to but I would like to avoid it. Thanks!
