No, the ability to print to a local printer is done via a virtual channel so
that option is session based and not application based. Also, 4.5 does not
have filters for applications.

How about CTX PS 4.5? Will we have more options in the 4.5 upgrade to do
something like this?

The only way to do something like this is to Silo the application and filter
the CTX Policy by using Server and User Group.

We currently deny the ability to print to local printers when users connect
through our CAG. We do this by disabling the virtual channel for printer
creation upon log on (forgive me if I explained that wrong). We have been
able to make exceptions by USER (or Groups) by allowing Printing. Now I
have a request from our security dept to give certain users access to print
only from a single published app. Does anyone know how I would do that? I
don't see a way looking at policies in the CMC.

We are running Citrix PS 4.0. Users are coming through our CAGs (4.5.5)
with AAC.

Thank you,
