I've got an interesting one. Scenario; server farm =3D MF 1.8 sp2 on win2k sp3 with office 2000 sr1 dual= 1.1 ghz and 2 gig of RAM . Client is win2k sp3, office 2k sr2, ICA client= 6.30.1050, 730 mhz single processor with 128 meg of RAM. A user logs onto a desktop session and launches excel (happens with publish= ed excel too) they then copy from a local excel document a number of cells = and they paste these into the citrix excel workbook. This works as expecte= d. When the cells contain comments excel on the server crashes with a drwa= tson error and event id 4097 is written to the eventlog stating, "The appli= cation, , generated an application error The error occurred on 09/24/2002 @= 17:43:03.234 The exception generated was c0000005 at address 30135DA1 (<no= symbols>)" . This scenario also works in reverse, in that the local copy of excel will d= rwatson if commented cells are pasted into a workbook from a citrix session. Cutting and pasting between two local or two citrix excel sessions works. Also when excel drwatsons it removes the ability to cut and paste between t= he client and the server. I've found similar stuff on both technet and the thin archives re the com+ = issues with remapped drives and XADM stuff to do with OWA but these do not = apply to my scenario (obviously). Here's hoping for some answers. Tim Bishop ---------------------------------------------------------------------------= --------------- This e-mail was checked by the e-Sweeper Service.
