[THIN] Event ID 1000

HIAll,
Remember the good ol' event id 1000 error? Goes something like "Windows is
unable to load your profile.....". This became a big issue after the
blaster patch (and others). UPHClean was designed to catch it. Well, I
brought my farm uptodate with all the latest and greatest ms patches and
started getting the error again. I am using the latest UPHClean but it
doesn't work with this one. I've traced it back to KB824141, which
is"MS03-045: Buffer Overrun in ListBox and in the ComboBox Control Could
Allow Code Execution". I removed this patch and the problem went away
