If the UNIX system is Solaris, IBM AIX or HP UNIX you can run PS on it
natively and access it with ICA !

Subject: [THIN] Emulation software

Hello all,

In the process of planning and testing for my migration from Metaframe XP
FR2 to PS 4.0 on W2K3.

We currently use WRQ Reflection for our emulation product to connect into
our UNIX business system. Works fine, we had to do some monkying with the
different emulations to get the best performance, ended up going with VT220
and remapping some of the function keys to get everything to work. The cost
of it, licenses and maintenance, is getting to be too much and certain
endusers still complain about it.

Two that we have come across that fit the bill as far as cost and emulation
( would like to go back to WYSE60) are Ericom Powerterm Lite, and Powerterm
Interconnect and Seagull Bluezone.

has anybody used any of these and have any opnions on them? good and bad.

I'm looking to getting one or two of them setup and test before Briforum so
I can come prepared with more questions if I need to.

Thanks in advance for any feedback.
