I fixed this - the issue was dynamic disks, the disks need to be left as basic to allow the drive re-mapping process to occur. In this case in means re-building the server, as the boot disk, cannot be downgraded to a basic disk. regards, Phil -----Original Message----- From: Newman, Phil [mailto:Phil.Newman@xxxxxxxxxx] Sent: 30 July 2003 01:44 To: 'thin@xxxxxxxxxxxxx' Subject: [THIN] Drive Remap unable with XP FR3 Good Evening, Has anyone tried to use the Drive remap utility with a virgin install on Xpe FR3. I get the CD drive (E:) offered to remap but not the C:\ and D:\ drives. Running on a Dell 2650, with all the latest patches. I saw it happen yesterday with a CD Drive mapped as Z:\ which confused the program, changing it to E:\ fixed the problem. Could it be somethiong to do with firmware etc.. Of the disks? Any thoughts?
