This will be (almost certainly) a local client generated popup as opposed to a popup from the win2k server being skinned (technical term for altering window chrome type stuff) as you would need Win2k3 server with Luna support for this kind of remote dialog / popup with rounded corners etc. I guess the next question is why if ICA keep alives are enabled ? If the remote circuit drop's for a brief period even with ICA keep alives the session will disconnect, so what state is the remote circuit in ? -----Original Message----- From: BRUTON, Malcolm, FM [mailto:Malcolm.BRUTON@xxxxxxxx] Sent: 02 November 2004 11:34 To: 'thin@xxxxxxxxxxxxx' Subject: [THIN] Disconnects Hi All We have an app which we serve out via a VPN to other parts of the world. Quite often we get a message which appears to come from the XP Machine. It says "You were disconnected because there was no recent activity" and the title is Reconnect. I think that it comes from the XP machine because the window corner are round and we only use 2000 servers which can't display message boxes like this. Of course we can't replicate this locally. Does or can newer ICA clients reproduce popups with rounded corners? We have ICA Keep alives enabled at 120 seconds...Ideas? Trying to get new more information about client version etc from the site affected Malcolm Bruton Workspace Team The Royal Bank of Scotland - Corporate Banking and Financial Markets t: +44 20 7085 5768 e: <mailto:dmalcolm.bruton@xxxxxxxx> malcolm.bruton@xxxxxxxx w: <http://oneteam.fm.rbsgrp.net/> http://oneteam.fm.rbsgrp.net **************************************************************************** ******* The Royal Bank of Scotland plc.
