Subject: [THIN] Disable Detect and Repair for Project 2003

Hi,

I have a client who has an environment where printing has been disabled. A
number of things have been done to disable printing - one of which is a
script that runs through HCR and removes all the 'print' references from
file references - so that when you right click on a file you don't get the
option to print.

This (appeared to) work dandily.

However - with Project 2003, when it is run Project realises that the Print
subkey is missing, and it (unhelpfully) puts it back :x

This means until an admin runs the application, each user gets an 'not
enough memory error' :?

Is it possible to disable the detect and repair functionality? - the
ResetSettings and RestoreShortcuts settings in
policies\m$\office\11.0\common\general don't seem to have any influence on
the matter

tia

Andrew
