Jim-
Thanks for the quick response. The first article is for NT4 (My fault,
I didn't specify my OS -- Windows 2000). The second article is a broken
link.. ??

Subject: [THIN] Different file types for different users??

I need to be able to have different users profiles' open the same file with
a different program.. Specifically, I need one group to be able to open an
Excel spreadsheet with Excel, and the other group to be able to open it with
one the Excel Viewer. The default behavior for each of these groups should
be as such. But, when I go to the "File Types" tab, I am unable to change
anything.. I thought perhaps this would be configurable at a profile-level.

Am I missing something here?? Anyone have any pointers for me??

Thanks in advance,

Jeff
