Thanks for all your help. It is certainly appreciated. BUT if you want a custom page you need a portal. There are plenty out there like MAXweb portal, and aspportal of aspportal.net that you can get for free. The trick here is that you will need to code the asp to work kinda like NFuse. So you get role based pages etc... Start with something simple like ASPPORTAL and follow its little tutorial on adding in additional pages. I will send you my chopped up code (since I'm no web programmer) in the next week or so. I would appreciate that. I want to make a decent looking initial page for my organization. I would ultimately really like to be able to have pages generated based upon userid or group. Is this possible? The first ones will be VERY BASIC, then as I work on them some I hope to make it slick and pretty easy to configure. Let me know if you want in to try it out. It will most likely be simple and look like so: http://ron.oglesby.com/test.gif Then you can build stuff around it incorporating it into an ASP page or a Frames HTML Page I know a lot of us work in large environments but I also know there is a HUGE community of small shops that don't have a web team or even a web guy. This is more for them than for the rest of you gurus. :-)=3D20 Ron Oglesby Senior Technical Architect =3D20 RapidApp Office 312.372.7188 Mobile 312.961.2380 email roglesby@xxxxxxxxxxxx =3D20 -----Original Message----- From: Bennett, Cameron [mailto:CBennett@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx]=3D20 Sent: Tuesday, November 12, 2002 7:31 AM To: 'thin@xxxxxxxxxxxxx' Subject: [THIN] Re: Different NFUSE pages I am NOT fortunate enough to have a web development department. Ok you "fine" people may go tooooo far. Anyway it got me going again on doing some more stuff in the community. I am thinking of creating a bunch of nfuse pages based on Nfuse 1.7 and soon to be Nfuse 1.8 and giving them out in an easy to edit format. =3D3D20 These would be targeted at admins that don't know how (or don't want to take the time to) edit the ASP and VBS code in the Nfuse pages to get a more custom NFuse page. =3D3D20 I am wondering what you would be looking for in these pages? Would simple frames pages that you could edit content in the frames work? What would someone want in a simple page that they could make look more like their own? =3D3D20 =3D3D20 Ron Oglesby Senior Technical Architect =3D3D3D20 RapidApp Office 312.372.7188 Mobile 312.961.2380 email roglesby@xxxxxxxxxxxx =3D3D3D20 =3D3D20 =3D3D20 ***********************************************=3D3D20 For Archives, to Unsubscribe, Subscribe or=3D3D20 set Digest or Vacation mode use the below link. =3D3D20 http://thethin.net/citrixlist.cfm =3D3D20 ***********************************************=3D3D20 For Archives, to Unsubscribe, Subscribe or=3D3D20 set Digest or Vacation mode use the below link. =3D3D20 http://thethin.net/citrixlist.cfm ***********************************************=3D3D20 For Archives, to Unsubscribe, Subscribe or=3D3D20 set Digest or Vacation mode use the below link. http://thethin.net/citrixlist.cfm ***********************************************=3D20 For Archives, to Unsubscribe, Subscribe or=3D20 set Digest or Vacation mode use the below link. http://thethin.net/citrixlist.cfm ***********************************************=3D20 For Archives, to Unsubscribe, Subscribe or=3D20 set Digest or Vacation mode use the below link. http://thethin.net/citrixlist.cfm ***********************************************=3D20 For Archives, to Unsubscribe, Subscribe or=3D20 set Digest or Vacation mode use the below link. http://thethin.net/citrixlist.cfm ***********************************************=20 For Archives, to Unsubscribe, Subscribe or=20 set Digest or Vacation mode use the below link. http://thethin.net/citrixlist.cfm ***********************************************=20 For Archives, to Unsubscribe, Subscribe or=20 set Digest or Vacation mode use the below link. http://thethin.net/citrixlist.cfm *********************************************** For Archives, to Unsubscribe, Subscribe or set Digest or Vacation mode use the below link. http://thethin.net/citrixlist.cfm *********************************************** For Archives, to Unsubscribe, Subscribe or set Digest or Vacation mode use the below link. http://thethin.net/citrixlist.cfm
