Typically I use either perfmon or poolmon and graph the results. -----Original Message----- From: swilliams@xxxxxxxx [mailto:swilliams@xxxxxxxx] Sent: Tuesday, March 29, 2005 9:00 AM To: thin@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [THIN] Re: Detecting memory leaks Hi, What tool(s) are you using to check for the memory leaks? It looks as if pretty much all the background services have some sort of memory leak issue. Those that stand out are: SMS 2003 (w/SP1), SAVCE 9, HP Agents (7.1), lsass, logon.scr, wmi, and dfs. Am I misreading things or is it possible that all these are actually leaky services? Server is W2K3, MPS3.0 (with latest hotfixes) adam ******************************************************** This Weeks Sponsor: RTO Software TScale TScale provides a cost-effective way to improve performance, capacity and stability for thin-client servers like Citrix MetaFrame or Microsoft Terminal Services running Windows NT, 2000 or 2003. http://www.rtosoft.com/enter.asp?id=296 ********************************************************** Useful Thin Client Computing Links are available at: http://thin.net/links.cfm ThinWiki community - Excellent SBC Search Capabilities! http://www.thinwiki.com *********************************************************** For Archives, to Unsubscribe, Subscribe or set Digest or Vacation mode use the below link: http://thin.net/citrixlist.cfm ******************************************************** This Weeks Sponsor: RTO Software TScale TScale provides a cost-effective way to improve performance, capacity and stability for thin-client servers like Citrix MetaFrame or Microsoft Terminal Services running Windows NT, 2000 or 2003. http://www.rtosoft.com/enter.asp?id)6 ********************************************************** Useful Thin Client Computing Links are available at: http://thin.net/links.cfm ThinWiki community - Excellent SBC Search Capabilities! http://www.thinwiki.com *********************************************************** For Archives, to Unsubscribe, Subscribe or set Digest or Vacation mode use the below link: http://thin.net/citrixlist.cfm ******************************************************** This Weeks Sponsor: RTO Software TScale TScale provides a cost-effective way to improve performance, capacity and stability for thin-client servers like Citrix MetaFrame or Microsoft Terminal Services running Windows NT, 2000 or 2003. http://www.rtosoft.com/enter.asp?id=296 ********************************************************** Useful Thin Client Computing Links are available at: http://thin.net/links.cfm ThinWiki community - Excellent SBC Search Capabilities! http://www.thinwiki.com *********************************************************** For Archives, to Unsubscribe, Subscribe or set Digest or Vacation mode use the below link: http://thin.net/citrixlist.cfm
