[THIN] Default Email Application

This may be a silly question, but is there an easy way to define a local email client to be the default email application? I am running Adobe Acrobat 6 as a published app and my users need to email forms. I am currently using Netscape as the default app on the server but is there an easier way to do this or have it execute the local client. Please advise.
