That depends on your licensing model.  The per processor license is
expensive and if you are a large organization with many SQL servers then it
get really, really expensive.   Alternatively, you can buy SQL Cals.

Francios,  If you buy SQL Cals,  you will need a license for every user or
device that logs into Citrix.  MS Licensing is very specific about this.
You pay the same if the client is connecting directly or indirectly (proxied
by the application) to a backend SQL Server.

So if you have 100 thin clients and 5 Citrix servers,   that's 100 SQL
Device Cals.  Or 100 devices (mix of PC, Thin clients, PDAs, etc) and 70
users total.  That would be 70 SQL User Cals.
