hhhmmm.... Server "30". No dosapp.fon issues. On the machine, I navigate to c:\winnt\fonts, no dosapp.fon. From my machine, I navigate to \\"30"\c$\winnt\fonts <file://\\> , there is dosapp.fon. On on afflicted server "31", from the machine I only see c:\winnt\fonts\MS-DOS CP 437 (dosapp_0.fon), but when I navigate to it from my machine, I see both dosapp_0.fon and dosapp.fon. What is the deal here? _____ From: thin-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:thin-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Walter, Chris Sent: Monday, April 25, 2005 9:38 AM To: 'thin@xxxxxxxxxxxxx' Subject: [THIN] Re: DOSAPP.FON Look to see if you can see anything in the startup either in the Startmenu or registry HKLM\software\microsoft\windows\currentversion\run See if you see something that is new that possibly shouldn't be there. Chris _____ From: Schneider, Chad M [mailto:CMSchneider@xxxxxxxxx] Sent: Monday, April 25, 2005 9:55 AM To: 'thin@xxxxxxxxxxxxx' Subject: [THIN] DOSAPP.FON I suddenly have several servers, asking for the CD for WIN2K upon logon, and the file they are looking for is DOSAPP.FON. They each have this file, I have tried replacing the file, I have tried copying i386 to the server, and altering the source in REG., still looks for that file in d:\i386. Others at my company have begun to see the same and similar instance on other servers. So far, I am at 4 servers confirmed with this issue. Any ideas? Seen this before? WIN2K, SP4.
