When you install NT4 with only 1 CPU you get the HAL.dll files (along with the
other multi cpu files) for 1 CPU. This hal is does not support multi CPU's.

Two options. A. Go to a DL380 that has two CPU's in it and copy the 6 files.
Boot of floppy on the single system and copy the 6 files to the OS drive. Then
add the second CPU and boot.

Do a parallel install on the system into winnt2 with both CPU's installed.
Then, Simply copy the 6 files from winnt2 install to the original winnt
install. Edit the boot.ini so you are now booting off the original install and
you are done...

Ok, I have a Compaq DL380 &33MHZ that I have installed NT4 TSE on. I have
not been able to get it to recognize or use the second processor. I heard a
REG hack mentioned does anyone know what that is? Also I cannot find
ANYWHERE the Alternate HAL file needed to get this running, ANyone know
where I can find it? This is getting to be anoying.
