Hello Jay, We have also had grief with cursor blink rates. We fixed a registry setting for each user at logon:- HKCU\Control Panel\Desktop\CursorBlinkRate I think we set ours to something like 1000 (would need to check exactly). this makes it appear as solid cursor - it doesn't "blink" and cause any screen update traffic. Hope that helps. Ok, I guess I'm not expecting a answer from this question, but I had to see if anyone else had experienced this before. Open Microsoft Word 2007, no cursor. Hit Enter 6 times, cursor appears. Happens on multiple servers, multiple users. Environment: CPS 4.5 on W2K3 R2. User is using a WYSE terminal that is running a published desktop, starts up Citrix Program Neighborhood. Word is running on a different server so user is logged onto that server. If user runs Word from same server as the published desktop, cursor shows up fine as soon as Word is started. Problem only happens when the user "jumps" from their published desktop session to another server. If anyone has any ideas or a good shrink, please let me know.
