I am not sure about the session ID scheme, but I do know that the /console
option definitely provides the true "O" system console. We have been using
for some time now on a number of 2K3 installs and have had no issues using
wherever "true" console is needed.

Subject: [THIN] Console session with SessionID<>0

Hi,

Interesting observation: remote connection to the Console (with "mstsc
/console" for example) changes Console session ID to the first available
SessionID, while remote user inherits Console SessionID of 0 that replaces
original SessionID with which user had connected to the system before being
authenticated.

Test system: Win2K3 with FR3 (this "feature" is Microsoft OS related and
presumed to be Citrix independent)

Does anyone have more insight?

ALEX
